Day 1 – Arrival in Cairo

Morning: Arrival in Cairo

• Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, a representative will greet you and assist with customs and baggage handling.
• You will be transferred to your hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. After check-in, take some time to rest and freshen up after your journey.

• Overnight stay in Cairo.

 

Day 2 – Giza Pyramids, Panoramic Viewpoint, Valley Temple, Sphinx, Sakkara & Memphis

Morning: Giza Pyramids

• After breakfast, embark on a journey to the Giza Plateau, home to the iconic Great Pyramids of Giza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Visit the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest and most famous, followed by the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. These ancient structures have stood the test of time for over 4,500 years, with your guide explaining their significance in ancient Egyptian religion.
• Stop at a Panoramic Viewpoint for a stunning view of the entire plateau and capture photos of the pyramids against the backdrop of the desert.

Midday: Valley Temple and Sphinx

• After an early breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan.

Midday: Temple of Philae

• Upon arrival, visit the enchanting Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple, relocated to an island to save it from the rising waters of the Nile, is an architectural masterpiece, blending Egyptian, Greek, and Roman styles.

Afternoon: Aswan High Dam and Unfinished Obelisk

• Visit the Aswan High Dam, a modern engineering marvel built in the 1960s that controls the Nile’s flooding and provides electricity to much of Egypt.

Evening: Free time in Aswan

Day 4 – Abu Simbel Temples

Morning: Abu Simbel

• After an early breakfast, take a drive or flight to Abu Simbel, one of the most magnificent monuments of ancient Egypt. These twin temples, built by Ramses II, were relocated in an extraordinary feat of engineering to avoid being submerged by the Nile after the construction of the High Dam.
• Explore the Great Temple of Ramses II and the Temple of Queen Nefertari, both adorned with colossal statues and intricate carvings. These temples are an extraordinary testament to the pharaoh’s power and devotion to the gods.

Afternoon: Return to Aswan

• After visiting Abu Simbel, return to Aswan for a free afternoon to explore the local markets or enjoy the tranquility of the Nile.

Day 5 – Kom Ombo, Crocodile Museum, Edfu: The Temple of Horus, Luxor

Morning: Kom Ombo and Crocodile Museum

• After breakfast, travel north along the Nile to Kom Ombo, home to the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. This unique double temple is dedicated to two gods—Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris, the falcon-headed god.
